Our buildings are designed to sit comfortably in their surroundings and enhance the local character whilst providing a sense of joy to their users. We are passionate about ensuring that buildings relate to and connect with the immediate and wider landscape.
We design new or replacement houses and ancillary buildings, alter, extend and refurbish existing buildings. We are equally comfortable designing traditionally inspired buildings or more contemporary responses to sites as well as working on older buildings, in conservation areas or ANOB’s. Common themes, that we strive to achieve with each project, are building to the highest standards, maximising available space, views and daylight and optimising each sites potential.
As an RIBA chartered practice we are required to comply with the codes of both the Royal Institute of British Architects (www.architecture.com) and the Architects Registration Board, relating to the running of our business and how we treat clients. We carry professional indemnity insurance, maintain a rigorous approach to health and safety and operate a policy of ongoing training of our professional staff.
We work with a network of other professionals, including land surveyors, town planners, cost consultants, engineers, arboriculturalists, ecologists cdm co-ordinators and part wall surveyors, and can involve them as necessary with any of the projects, to ensure the process runs smoothly.
We pride ourselves in our ability to listen to what our clients want from the outset and maintaining a personal relationship throughout the design and build process, to ensure client satisfaction.
